What Experience is Needed?

To be considered for a general administration position, candidates must possess core skills and experience, such as proficiency in specific software, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a keen eye for detail. It is also beneficial to have a strong understanding of the industry that the company operates in, so if applying for a general administrative position in a law firm, having previous experience in professional services will be a huge benefit.

While entry-level positions may only require minimal experience (internships, apprenticeships, etc.), more senior roles may require years of experience and a proven track record of success in the desired industry. Relevant educational background in business administration, certifications, and professional development opportunities can also help candidates stand out.
